You were trained to avoid SFLNXTCHG and READC? I wonder why. I personally can't imagine doing subfile processing without them. READC makes editing a subfile entry screen much more efficient, in my opinion. If you're editing requires more than one pass through the subfile or if you want some of the records initially loaded to be edited regardless of whether they were changed by the user while ignoring other records, SFLNXTCHG is a great tool.
