  • Subject: AS/400 connectivity problem through Extra! Personal Client

Hello,

We are using Extra! Personal Client emulation software for connecting to the
remote AS/400 system. Recently our remote AS/400 was upgraded from V3R1 to
V3R2. Our remote administrator says that none of the TCP/IP configuration
parameters have been changed. After the upgrade we are not able to connect
to the system using Extra Client. Extra! gives a message 'CONNECTED', but
hangs there and doesn't give the AS/400 signon screen.

However, we are able to connect to the system using other emulation software
like OnNet32. Is there any configuration that I have to look for in the
Client or AS/400??

regards,
Phaniraj
