This format has worked for me:

SNDDST TYPE(*FILE) TOINTNET((user@address.net)) DSTD('Test file through
email') DOCFILE(LIBRARY/FILE) DOCMBR(*FIRST) DOCTYPE(2) DOCD(Test File)
SUBJECT('Test File')


The DOCTYPE(2) will translate the file to ascii.  This only works with
character and zoned decimal data.  Packed decimal and binary fields will get
clobbered.  The file is not sent as an attachment but as text in the email
note.  If the record length is longer that 90 characters (I think) it will
be wrapped in the note.
