I am trying to configure a remote output queue on my V3R7 AS/400 that references a printer on a WinNT workstation v4.0 service pack 3 machine. Its not working. Nobody (AS/400 or WinNT) is complaining about anything or sending any messages. But the spool files are not moving either. I do have a similar setup working but it is not using the WinNT LPD server...it is using RPM's LPD server and is on a different machine. I have also tried using SNDTCPSPLF to no avail. This is the command I used: SNDTCPSPLF RMTSYS(*INTNETADR) PRTQ(HP6L) FILE(QSYSPRT) SPLNBR(*LAST) TRANSFORM(*NO) MFRTYPMDL(*HP5) INTNETADR('10.1.1.210') There are no connectivity issues and no firewalls or anything like that in between the 2 systems. On the WinNT system, The TCP/IP Print Server service has been started and I do have a printer defined as HP6L Regards, Bob Crothers Cornerstone Communications, LLC www.faxserver401.com another day done all targets met all systems fully operational all customers satisfied all staff keen and motivated all pigs fed and ready to fly... +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
