I believe if you check the Properties of the system in AS/400 Connections
icon,
it will show what the default user is.

Subject: ODBC Signon

Hi All,

I have a question about Client Access ODBC. I have set up some reports in
Crystal Reports which get data from DB2/400 tables via ODBC. The reports
are not saved with data so they refresh directly from the 400 when opened.
I have then distributed these reports to other users in the companiy via
Crystal's distribution option. I have two issues.

Firstly as soon as the report goes to get data it pops up a CA signon
defaulting to my user id and an old password (I know this because it won't
sign on until I change the password) rather then the user id of the person
using it, even though in the ODBC & CA options the default user is set to
the regular user (ie. not me!). I can't find anywhere else in either ODBC
or CA where this might be stored.

My second issue is that I am getting the users to sign on to the 400 so
there is an open connection (ie. through the AS/400 Connections screen,
although none of them have interactive sessions because there is no need).
Given this, why is the Report asking them to sign on again?

Any suggestions would be appreciated
