I'm new to this newsgroup, so if the subject is inappropriate, please let me know. We are in the process of replacing two ERP systems and closing in on conversion, while keeping the present systems afloat. One of the legacy systems is MAPICS, an old version heavily modified. Last week Master Schedule processing called for another year of shop calendar - the next year being 2000, which of course is not there. The error caused the M/S run to abort, and we have not yet been able to work around it. Our planning cycle goes out only about six months, so we have no real need for the new year until May or June. I expected this to happen in April, when a new calendar was needed last year. And we were prepared for that timing. Any ideas on possible ways to get around the problem (making M/S to run) for a few months?
