Text Management/38 -- MIDRANGE-L

Hello all,
Perhaps someone else has this problem. we are still using Text Management/38
on
our  V3R2. We use to have GBT emulators attached to our HP printers and we
imbedded escape codes into the Documents to control the Font, which drawer
etc.
Well, the GBT boxes are now obsolete, and we have replaced them with AXIS
570
emulators. Now we don't know what codes to use in EDTTXT documents to
accomplish
the same thing, the AXIS manual talks about transperacies and such but its a
little hard to understand, anyone out there still using Text Management/38?
