How can I use DDM over TCP/IP? I have one AS/400 at V4R2 and the other at
V4R3. Both the CRTDDMF and CRTDTAARA (using DDM) only have a small remote
location prompt. The help text refers to the APPC Programming Book. Other
commands that support TCP/IP, such as RUNRMTCMD, have a long remote location
prompt that supports a TCP/IP address or name and has a type prompt for *SNA
or *IP. Please provide more information. Thanks.

As for SAVRSTLIB - this is an APPC application, so you will have to
configure Anynet. It's rather simple and works well (at least this was my
experience).

I've always connected AS/400's together via APPC/APPN in order to support
connectivity functions such as STRPASTHR, DDM, SAVRSTLIB etc...

In the environment I find myself in now though, I only have TCP/IP links
available between my systems....

I know I can replace STRPASTHR with TELNET but how will I (if I even can)
use DDM and SAVRSTLIB?

Will I need to configure ANYNET (APPC over IP)?

My previous experience with ANYNET (V3R7) wasn't much fun...

Kenneth
