The FSIOP board was renamed "IPCS" for Integrated PC Server quite some
time ago.  If you go to

you can view the presentation on it from COMMON,  Yes, there is a serial
port for a modem as well as a parallel port.

The present design is limited to a Pentium Pro but I've been told that
new generations will have PIIs.

        Where does one find out about the PC server card in a new 170?
I am not even sure of what it is called.  It used to be called a FSIOP I
think.  What I am curious about is of there is a serial port on it to
which a modem can be attached.
