Hey, I'm glad I'm not the only one.  I couldn't figure out how to give a
character variable a value.  Of course, as soon as I sent a message to the
list, it worked fine.  Oh well, I guess I really do belong in the slow
group.

At the risk of looking dumb (again), when I run STRQMQRY against a query
definition, I don't get any of the query's formatting.  (Column headings,
summary functions, report breaks, etc. are ignored).  Am I doing something
wrong (which I've been known to do on occasion), or is the query definition
always ignored by STRQMQRY?
