>I'm curious, what makes a PC based editor so much better? True copy/paste (more than 1 window at a time) A real search/replace mechanism that uses regular expressions. Macro languages that enable you to extend the editor to do common tasks like a popup indicator cross reference. Offline program validation that uses the DDS (if you download it to your PC - easy to do) Enhanced project management - there are more PC tools for this than for the 400 Work from home without pitifully slow response time. >I tried CODE/400 for a short while and felt that >it would slow me down. That's partly because you're not used to the rhythm of the PC editor. Your fingers are trained to use SEU. It takes a day or two to break your old habits, but it's worth it. Any PC editor more sophisticated than Notepad is superior to SEU. I've used and liked both Code/400 and Flex/Edit. If Code seems too wierd, perhaps Flex/Edit will suit your fingers better?
