Try this just to make sure how the tapes are formatted. INZ a tape on each
drive then DSPTAP, that will
show you how the tape was initialized:
Display Tape Volume Information

Owner ID . . . . . : QSYSOPR Density . . . . . : *QIC525
Type . . . . . . . : *SL Code . . . . . . . :
*EBCDIC
