Did MS ever say that FoxPro was Y2K ready? Can I sue Ashton Tate for a dBase
program that a client has that may not be Y2K ready? It was only written in
the mid 80s. <G>

Ruth is just upset that Microsoft is doing its best to kill FoxPro in favour
of Access. <BG>

Subject: Microsoft Sued over Y2K Issue

cross posting from another list

The first (acording to IDG News Service) Y2K lawsuit against Microsoft was
filed on Dec. 10 in Chicago District Court by Ruth Kaczmarek. Ruth, a
FoxPro developer, alleges that FoxPro 2.5 and 2.6 and Visual FoxPro 3.0 do
not automatically recognize 2000 as a new century and instead render
two-digit dates as 20th century dates.
