Weird problem w/ V4R2 & VCP's

Folks:

I've got a weird problem with a VCP running under V4R2... due to some
screwup with the transfer of assets, our V4R2 system is temporarily not
under software support anymore... so I thought I'd shoot the problem out
here...

The command is calling a VCP that modifies some of the parameter...
under V4R1 and lower, the modified parameter gets passed to the CL that
the command invokes every time.

Under V4R2, however, the modified parameter only gets passed to the CL
on ALTERNATE invokations (i.e., Run it once, the modified parms don't
get passed, run it a 2nd time, the modified parms do get passed, 3rd
time, not passed, etc.)

Any suggestions?
