Buck,

We checked the data in the files. We did an experiment.
We wrote an RPG pgm, compiled it and ran ISDB tool on it.
The execution of the pgm was stepped thru using F5s. But,
for the same pgm, when we changed the type to RPT, complied and
ran the ISDB tool, the pgm executed to completion with just a couple of
F5s.

When referred to the joblog, we found the following entries, apart from
other regular
entries:

In case of RPG,
:
/*ISDB stopped at line number 1300.*/
/*ISDB stopped at line number 1400.*/
/*ISDB stopped at line number 1500.*/
/*ISDB stopped at line number 2700.*/
/*ISDB stopped at line number 2800.*/
/*ISDB stopped at line number 2900.*/
:

In case of RPT,
:
/*ISDB stopped at line number 14.*/
/*ISDB stopped at line number 15.*/
/*ISDB stopped at line number 16.*/
/*ISDB stopped at line number 28.*/
/*ISDB stopped at line number 29.*/
/*ISDB stopped at line number 30.*/
:

Do you use any precompiler options for the compilation of user-defined type
RPT as well as SQLRPG?

Our problem is still unsolved.
