× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Assuming you want all the active records for a physical file:

DSPFD FILE(mylib/*ALL) TYPE(*MBRLIST) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) FILEATR(*PF)
OUTFILE(myoutfilelibrary/myoutfile)

The read the records, totaling the field MLNRCD.
