If you just change the type from CL to CLLE and recompile => no change, no
problem and no advantage. You will at least want to compile with the activation
group set to *CALLER. This way, your programs will behave the same in an OPM
environment but if you decide to use ILE, those program will be more ready.

Grateful if someone could share his/her experience of converting a CL
programme from OPM to ILE. What I am referring to is straightly a
change of
source type and recompile, no code changes.

I wish to know if this is safe. Is there any case that the source code
needs
to be changed? And after all, what is the benefit?

Thanks in advance.
