Herb, The following is heresay since I don't have first-hand knowledge of this but was told by someone who I believe is in the know. IBM's Workstation Gateway (WSG) is free and already on the AS/400 although it lacks some function and IBM has not enhanced it in quite a while and does not plan to. My plan is to configure WSG myself and get it going for the same reason you wrote. A more robust program is I/Net's Webulator/400 but there's a $ cost. You load the software on the AS/400 and a plug-in to the client browser and away you go. You have a lot of customization of the appearance and keyboard mapping etc. You can get a trial version of Webulator. I plan on doing this as well to compare the differences between this and IBM's WSG to justify the cost. I have nothing to do with either company, just a plain old end-user. Hope this helps.
