Make sure the LPD server is running on the target system.  STRTCPSVR *LPD
To make you typing easier you don't need to key SNDTCPSPLF use LPR insted.

I have two AS/400s connected via TCP/IP. One at V4R2, other at V3R2.
I can ping between the two systems in either direction, I can TELNET
between the two systems in either direction.
SNDTCPSPLF works only from the V4R2 system to the V3R2 system. Going the
other way from the V3R2 system to the V4R2 system I get the message
 (TCP3427) Remote host system rejected the open attempt
Does anyone know what would cause this and how to correct it?
