Richard Rosenbluth <rose400@pacbell.net> on 11/13/98 10:04:27 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com cc: (bcc: Bryan Dietz/Columbus/3X Corp) Subject: Remote Writer problem - TCP3427 I have two AS/400s connected via TCP/IP. One at V4R2, other at V3R2. I can ping between the two systems in either direction, I can TELNET between the two systems in either direction. SNDTCPSPLF works only from the V4R2 system to the V3R2 system. Going the other way from the V3R2 system to the V4R2 system I get the message (TCP3427) Remote host system rejected the open attempt Does anyone know what would cause this and how to correct it? -- Richard Rosenbluth Rose Information Management Co. mailto:rose400@pacbell.net ------------------------------- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
