Below is how I am sending files to a Unix machine within CL in Batch. It
is the transfer command and the script that is generated on the fly with
new file names

CL:

/*--------------------------------------------------------------*/
/* Transfer the File to the Selected Target Platform */
/*--------------------------------------------------------------*/

             OVRDBF     FILE(TCPSCRIPTS) TOFILE(JPMDTA/TCPSCRIPTS) +
                          MBR(WEB_REGEN)

             TCPTRNSFR  HOSTID(&HOSTID) SCRFLE(TCPSCRIPTS) +
                          SRCMBR(WEB_REGEN) FILE(WBXHEAD WBX_CMP +
                          WBXMSG2 WBX_CMP WBX_TCPCTL WBX_CMP) +
                          TEXT('WBX-GraphNet  ') VERIFY(*NO)

             DLTOVR     FILE(TCPSCRIPTS)

Script:

UserID UserPassword
PUT QTEMP/WBXHEAD N1_REGEN_0018.A19981112.INDEX
PUT QTEMP/WBX_CMP N1_REGEN_0018.A19981112.INDEX.COMPLETE
PUT QTEMP/WBXMSG2 N1_REGEN_0018.A19981112
PUT QTEMP/WBX_CMP N1_REGEN_0018.A19981112.COMPLETE
PUT QTEMP/WBX_TCPCTL N1_REGEN_0018.A19981112.CONTROL
PUT QTEMP/WBX_CMP N1_REGEN_0018.A19981112.CONTROL.COMPLETE
QUIT

I hope this gets you started.

Bob
