Neil,

A couple of thoughts:

Are you using the mail relay services of your ISP? If the AS/400 can do
this it might have better luck with delivery. This is an SMTP attribute
that you can set.

Could this be a DNS problem? Are you using an internal or external DNS
server? If you are using an internal DNS server you might want to check
that it has connections to an external DNS.

Also, I noticed in the SMTP error message that the ".ca" is dropped from
the host name. I wonder if this is a bug in the SMTP support.

written.
