RE: RPG III or IV?

Below is the RPG list of our installed license programs.  My question is if
we don't specify the program as RPGLE and just leave it as RPG and compile
it with CRTRPGPGM, what version of RPG is that?

[##] RPG/400 & RPG/ILE are very different.
         size of  result  fields  might not  mean a thing in relation to
         type RPG in use. For date  fields - it does suggest that you might
         be in trouble for Y2K .
        If you are compelled to  implement RPG/ILE now for in conjunction 
        with Y2K  remediation - I would  suggest to you that  with the time
        remaining you are assuming  a second project - converting to &
        using RPG/ILE  functions and data types.  There are  definite 
        sequences and restrictions  you  should adhere to -in order to
minimize 
        your risks.

        Be  happy to discuss them person to person in more detail.  To 
        be of value there are parts of your process and plans that should 
        be reviewed.
