interesting.  we've been looking at seagull, but haven't done anything on it 
yet,
for the issues you raised.  i've had some doubts that the process is as easy as
the salesman claims, or that the result is as valuable.

additionally, keeping up with the changes sounded like it could be difficult.
after all, in the traditional green screen environment, you change your program
once and it's changed everywhere.

we're still open on what to do. perhaps using a visual rpg product like asna's 
or
ibm's would allow you to take some of your stratigic programs and gui them.....
