Booth:
Along this line we have installed some QuickStream PRO RAS servers to allow
dial up access via TCP/IP. They run about $800 and support 3 dial up users.
They have a 10 base T connection and connect to the network via ethernet, of
course this assumes the AS400 had ethernet. You then hang a modem like a
USR on the ports, hook up a phone line and you are in business. They are
nice little boxes, easy to config with a web browser and work really well.
In addition to routing TCP/IP they will also allow you to access the network
with NetBuei and IPX. I don't work for these guys, nor am I a reseller. I
just like products that work as advertised.

|That was my first shoot-from-the-hip answer. Then it dawned on me that
they are using a fsiop on the AS/400 and are using the AS/400 as their LAN
server. At that point I decided I was in a discussion that was wayyyy over
my head. So, your answer is similar to mine. What should they get then?
That'd be the next question.
