Magstar tape drive

I have had my first encounter with a Magstar Media Tape library.  I have
never done anything with these before.  I figued out it can run in stand
alone mode or library mode.  In standalone mode I can do a back up to the
first tape in the drive, however, what I would like to be able to do is to
have my back up rotate through the tapes.  (ie taday it would use tape 1,
tomorrow tape 2, the next day tape 3 , etc. through the 20 tapes and then
start over.)  Is there a way to address which cartridge is selected to be
used?
Any help is apprciated.
