Check out Ws_Ftp (www.ipswitch.com) . It is a windows based FTP ckient.
You it has a GUI interface which idisplays the files on both the client
and server. You can also run it in command mode , where the user simply
clicks on the ICON and the predetermined files are sent or receivid after
they enter their password.a

I need to be able to FTP from a PC to an AS/400 shared folder using
something other than client access or command line FTP. Though I use both,
with ease, our customers demand something with a gui interface (less client
access drag and drop and more point and clicky... pac interface?).

Would it be simpler to a) spawn an ftp dos session from visual basic b)
perhaps use some client/access controls (if available) in visual basic.

Thanks in advance for any insight into this matter.
