Sure this is possible.  You need to add STRPCO to you AS/400 menu program,
then when the menu option
is taken it does something like this:
STRPCCMD  PCCMD('c:\transfer\runftp.bat') <-or
('c:\progra~1\ibm\client~1\rfrompcb c:\data\runme.tto')

Or run anything you want, it's really slick

Is there a way for the AS/400 to initiate a file transfer in Client
Access via a menu option?
I want to have a menu option that transmits a prespecified file via
Client Access. Although we are using TCP/IP, I don't think we can use
FTP because that would require an FTP server to run on the target
machine. Is this correct?
