Just something to consider..... If you use the same names, when you CHAIN to the file before the UPDAT the existing field values from the file will overwrite the screen field values. You will loose the values changed on the screen. Also, if you allow changes to the key fields, you will need to store the old key values in a temp. field, so you can CHAIN back to the record.
