Subject: Relative Performance Index

I'm trying to compare the price of buying a new system with the price of
upgrading my current system and OS. But the Relative Performance Index is
very confusing. My old poor little box only has a Relative Performance
rating. These new cool 170 models have a Constrained CPW Rating and then 2
categories - Client server and Interactive. They also have a Unconstrained
CPW Rating with the 2 categories. How do I compare apples and oranges?

Thanks
