IMO, HTML tags and links are two separate issues. The problem is
readability. HTLM tags in a message make deciphering the actual
message difficult (at best), while links are informational (and
display very neatly as text) and useful in context to the message.

     LINKS ARE GOOD.
     HTML TAGS ARE BAD.

     Any questions?

Are you guys actually suggesting that nobody mail links to very useful
information just because you can't use it ?
