  • Subject: Job logs question

Hi,

I recently upgraded from a CISC running V3R1 to a RISC running V3R7. We
had been using the old machine since '93 and in the early days I had a
consultant helping me with setup. My users aren't very technical, they
understand only what they need to know to use the applications on the
system, and I've done my level best to insulate them from the 'ugly'
system stuff. Their job logs all went to the system printer, while
their other printed output went to the devices' assigned printer.

After the upgrade, the job logs are printing at the workstation printers
and not the system printer. It's very inconvienient for my users, and I
was wondering if it's just a quirk of moving up to RISC or V3R7 or if I
can change it. I already looked at the job descriptions, subsystem
descriptions, user profiles, and job queues, but didn't see anywhere to
redirect job logs. If you can help me, please do.

Thanks
