Hello,

I quite agree with Dean. While I may draw the line at helping debug
someone's homework, I think we need to be very encouraging to all who
take the time to ask for help through this forum. I've been on the
Sys/3x machine since the 38 days and still find a ton of questions. And
as the AS/400 keeps changing to meet the web and internet requirements,
many of us "old timers" will get left behind if we don't help and
encourage the new "kids" nipping at our heels.
I would like to add that, I think, references to specific sections of
the manuals and redbooks are very helpful to individuals new to the
AS/400, as it helps them locate and become familiar with a valuable
resource. In this day of "turn it on and see what happens" I believe
the art of research book reading is being lost.
Anyway, that's what I think about that.
Thanks,
Wayne
