Mohammad, I wasn't trying to imply that you where "screwing up"....just ill prepared. Besides, one of the things that experience teaches you in programming is to find your screw ups faster. You still make them (perhaps even more as senility sets in), you just find and fix them much faster than somebody right out of school. Has your instructor spent anytime explaining how all of this fits together? Or did he/she just throw the softcopy cd, user profile & password at you and say "now write a program"? It has always been my feeling that it is the concepts that are most important. If you have the concepts, you can look up the syntax. But without the concept, you are lost.
