Mohammad,

I wasn't trying to imply that you where "screwing up"....just ill
prepared.

Besides, one of the things that experience teaches you in programming
is to find your screw ups faster. You still make them (perhaps even
more as senility sets in), you just find and fix them much faster than
somebody right out of school.

Has your instructor spent anytime explaining how all of this fits
together? Or did he/she just throw the softcopy cd, user profile &
password at you and say "now write a program"?

It has always been my feeling that it is the concepts that are most
important. If you have the concepts, you can look up the syntax.

But without the concept, you are lost.

Bob

Hi Bob,

an assignment i'm working on for an rpg course i am
taking. i've never been employeed as a programmer
before :)

didn't mean to sound like i was on THE JOB, and screwing up. which'll
probably happen anyway...;)

sincerely,

Mohammad
