You are getting this error message when you attempt to convert date data to *MDY or *YMD format. What I did to get around that was to convert it to *USA numeric 8,0. then strip off the century portion of the year. Most of the time I just displayed it in an 8 digit format, but there were a few instances where I didn't have enough room left to display the full 8 digits. I think the reason you get this error when you attempt this, is that if you try to convert back to an 8 digit year it will yield incorrect results. -- ___________________________________________________________ Jerry R.
