3164 Emulation/Printing -- MIDRANGE-L

Has anyone been able to successfully print to an HP 3100 printer using
PSI's 3164 Emulation (v6.2)?  The HP 3100 is a combination
Printer/Fax/Copier/Scanner and utilizes COM7 for print.  The AS/400
emulated printer session is configured as a 4202? with Hostprint
Transform set to *yes for HPII.  When I set emulated printer session to
print to HP 3100, print times out.  When I set emulated printer session
to print to HP II, get error on LPT1 re:  port in use.  Windows 95
device manager does not report any IRQ confilicts.  HP and PSI cannot
seem to resolve.  Any and all help would be appreciated.  TIA
