Oh, I'm NOT laughing, believe me. At this same place, the controller (you know,
the guy who is supposed to WATCH the money...) read something about 100mb
Ethernet and came running to I.S. blabbing that we needed to do that to the
desktop. It was a 16mb Token Ring shop which was in NO WAY squeezed for response
- per Lanalyzer's (sp) etc. The cost of replacing 350+ T/R cards and rewiring
everything for NOTHING... $$$$$$$$$

We considered it(100mb) to run between wiring closets, etc. and for the 
backbone,
but decided fiber would make MUCH more sense...

AMAZING but true... And then of course when you want money for something that
makes SENSE...
