Batch job




We plan to create a java application run on AS/400.  This application will
communicate with an application on PC server.  It also  updates AS/400
database file.

1. Can we submit a job to run this application?  Because we want it to run
all day long.
2. Because it runs on AS/400, it access database file as a local file - no
Client Access involve.  Does AS/400 provides provide packages for java
applications to access database files.
