     Absolutely no difference. I just (out of habit, I suppose) prefer 
     CCYYMMDD to YYYYMMDD.

that there are problems with some of the date/year ranges in this...).
     
What's the advantage of using CCYY for 1998 than YYYY for 1998 ?
     
I'll quit asking questions eventually !!!!
