You might try looking in the Startup progam to see if the command STRTCP STRSVR(*ALL) is issued. eric.delong@pmsi-services.com ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: TCPIP or APPC Author: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com > at INET_WACO Date: 9/23/98 5:36 AM How I find out if a AS/400 is using any TCPIP network.? The customer I am working with has a policy i.e. the only connectivity to AS/400 is via APPC network. Yet, on a Unix box I saw some FTP scripts that are used to upload/download data to a AS/400. My responsibility is for a few AS/400 boxes (there are many) only and I want to know if TCPIP networking is allowed and used by them. If they are not used, then I would like to disable all TCPIP commands (telnet, ftp etc.). Any help or pointers is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
