Mike ! Are you saying that you are going to be physically disconnecting it and reconnecting it ? Otherwise, with the additional cable you can have it attached to BOTH systems at the same time. Of course only ONE system can use it at time ! We were doing it at the company I just left (2 months ago - YIPPEE !!!) and it works great. The ONLY problem was that there was no raised floor, the AS/400's were across the room from each other (about 15 feet apart max) so we had to buy a LONG cable ($$$$$$) to run around behind the first 530, behind the mux, UPS, battery rack and to the 500...
