Douglas, If you are at V3R7 or higher, it seems you can use the *IBMPJLDRV or *HPPJLDRV driver to print a range of pages over TCP/IP to a LAN-attached printer, assuming you are using laser printers that support PCL/PJL commands. Look for "11.2 Configuring LAN-Attached ASCII Printers" in : http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/SG242160/CCONTENTS Good luck! My users may generate a 500+ page spool file and only need pages 50 - 72 printed. If not from IBM does any 3rd party product do this from the 400? --- Douglas Hart - Sr. Consulting Technical Analyst ITT Fluid Technology / Goulds Pumps 240 Fall Street Seneca Falls, New York 13148 (315)568-7568 Voice (315)568-7129 FAX mailto:dah6696@goulds1.com +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
