I have written a simple code generator that will create an 1 record
Add/Update/Delete RPG interactive program with audit trail.  All that is
required is that you use SDA to build the screen and the code generator
takes it from there.

If there is a place to post this utility, I'd be happy to do this, or   
send
you a copy.
