good morning.

we are running an ibm firewall on a 6617 ipcs.

i have connected a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the ipcs, and when it is
varied on, it goes through the boot process (os/2 warp server) and
eventually comes up to a screen with a large window, that has nothing in
it.

the keyboard has no response, other than caps lock, num lock, and scroll
lock. the mouse appears, but will not allow any input.

is there a problem with the ipcs, or do i need to do more configuration?

i ask this, as we are interested in using this to monitor and administer
our firewall(if possible. i have seen nothing that says that i cannot do
this). as the manual that we received with it is not specific to this
model, is there another source of this info on the web?

thanks in advance for any help that you can give.
