>How to Permanently remove the Client Access toolbar from Excel?
>From the Tools menu, click Add-Ins and look for Transfer Data to an AS/400.
There you can disable or enable the CA/400 Excel add-in.
However, disabling the add-in here still leaves the add-in available for
users to easily re-enable. To permanently remove the add-in, you need to do
some registry surgery:
Look for the following key and corresponding value and delete this key value
from the registry
[HKEY_USERS\.Default\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Excel\Add-in Manager]
"d:\\Program Files\\IBM\\Client Access\\Shared\\cwbtfxla.xll"=""
After this registry change, users will _not_ be able to re-enable the CA/400
add-in.
