  • Subject: OK to change QCCSID from 65535 to 37?
  • From: Sclind2@xxxxxxx

The installation instructions for the JD Edwards OneWorld software have me
insure the QCCSID value is set to 37 ("US English"). We currently have it set
at 65535 ("No Conversion") - (the default from installation?)

Should I expect any problems if I change this sysval? I have read numerous
entries in Dejanews about this sysval, but they all seem to be from people who
have it set to a value for their (non-US) country.

(I hope this message isn't a duplicate; apparently if you submit a message
from an account other than the one you've subscribed from the post gets
rejected?)
