I don't know about the article but ......

When you create the command, on the PARM statement there is a CHOICEPGM field.
Specify a program name and this will be executed if the field in question is
prompted.  (You must also specify CHOICE(*PGM).)

See the OS/400 CL Programming (SC41-572) manual (book QB3AUO01), chapter 9.4.6
Possible Choices and Values.
