I've noticed the same thing. It seems that the num lock is viewed as the same 
as the shift key. When it is on, all keys on the numeric keypad are treated by 
CA as though they were in a shifted state. Consequently, for the numeric keypad 
enter key to work correctly (since it isn't very useful when the numlock key is 
off anyway), you need to map shift-enter to enter.
