Eric,

Well, I'ld do several of your choices. DEFINATELY get the masters. MBA
or whatever... If you want to make some good bucks, learn RPG, JDE and go
contracting...JDE contractors are making some outrageous buck$!

If you're looking longer term: Masters, RPG, JAVA, JDE...

You'll find that experience counts more than a cert currently in the
midrange world...if you're going into the PC world you'll need a cert cuz
there's just too many PC'ers...

Learn your systems below the desktop. TOO MANY cirriculums only teach you
the surface...what happens under the covers of your system is just as
important and schools tend to be paranoid about teaching that part of IS.

Fact is MS will be here a long time....and they OWN the desktop... JAVA
has a bit yet to go and I'm curious if it's not going to be the language
du jour...but only time will tell there.

Try doing the Masters at night or part time...saves on the cash flow :)

Lotsa luck!
