I have done literraly hundreds of those. Make sure that you have a record 
format with the keyword ASSUME in your DSPF. You dont need to ever write it. I 
will gladly give you more informations if you tell me more detail about your 
problem.

Has anyone tried to have a screen (like a window) that overlays the existing
screen leaving the underlying screen there, but making the new screen active
on the display?  I have tied the typical keywords used in windows, but they
