Build a separate :help name= section referencing its name, and use :imhelp name= tags to import the specific sections from the general and field level help that you want to be in the extended help. At least that's the way I've done it. I remember having this problem, and I think this got around it. I just looked up some code that I wrote many moons ago when I was doing help panels quite a lot, and that's the way it was written. hth Pete Pete Hall peteh@inwave.com http://www.inwave.com/~peteh/ +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
